Tagorda Leads California’s Innovative Data System

Founder and CEO Robert Tagorda is elected as the Board Chair of the California Cradle-to-Career Data System. Appointed to the 21-member board by Governor Gavin Newsom, Tagorda assumes a critical leadership role as the organization embarks on a five-year strategic plan and begins to integrate over a billion data points.

“In California, we have a monumental opportunity to build a world-class system that supports students and families, especially those with the greatest needs,” Tagorda says. “I am committed to collaborating with my fellow Governing Board Members and our management team to fulfill this mission.”

Since his appointment, Tagorda has made significant contributions to C2C. He has served on numerous committees, including those related to the Strategic Plan, the Executive Director Performance Review, the Governance Manual, and the Advisory Board Selection. On several occasions, he has chaired the committee.
